My computer is "old and Tired" like the operator..

But it seems MLM Social is a very slow loading system?

Maybe it is just my System or are others experiencing same?

Chuck,

I have experienced some of the same issues, but I find that it comes and goes. Today for example it is moving right a long with no problems.

Hey Chuck, I've had some exasperating days where I just can't get in at all, am hoping that something will change in the near future. It's definitely not my computer, everything else loads really quickly.....

Yeah, we're well aware of the slow loading problems. And Allen is right, it comes and goes. We've been running all kinds of tests to try and determine just what exactly is causing the problems, and we know it's not the servers as we have some pretty powerful machines running MLMSocial. We've also been optimizing the MYSQL database which has definitely made a difference.

We have also added a KVM Crash Cart to our servers... and what that means is that whenever our site crashes, we can run a trace to help pinpoint the problems. Based on this, we believe that it might have something to do with our Anti-Spam Firewall, which on the one hand has been an absolute godsend. I've been in contact with the developer, and it turns out that he is about to launch a brand new version which will completely eliminate the strain on MYSQL. We will be his first beta tester for this version (as we also were with his current version), since we are by far his highest traffic site, and that helps him to truly put his software to the test. He should be ready to put us into beta around the same time we go live with the new MLM opportunity! :)

On another note, in a few months, we will be completely upgrading our software to run on the zend platform, which will allow for greater speed and scalability... so the bottom line is, yes, we are well aware of the problem, and are just as frustrated if not more so than anyone. ;)

I was wondering if it was my computer that was causing it to load so slow today, I even logged out and ran my ccleaner.
I`m glad to note that its not a problem on my side as now the admin will work on fixing it.

Yeah, after being down all that time during integration, we needed to get everybody back onto MLMSocial, doing the same things you've always done (along with the new things you can now do) over a period of time in order to see exactly where to allocate resources. We've re-tweaked MySQL numerous times since we relaunched, and actually made major adjustments today. Each time we make adjustments, it takes a little while for everything to get cached again, so it actually slows down a little before it gets better. The good news is that we have now definitely confirmed that we need to add about 2-4GB, and the upgrade will take place over the next few days. We should all notice a marked improvement upon completion. :-)

BTW, just to make certain that you are all aware, MLMSocial's live chat uses a peer to peer connection, so if it seems slow, then there's a good chance it's either your computer or the computer of the person you're chatting with.

Thanks for the updates David, it's a huge undertaking, and you guys are doing a sterling job - keep up the great work. We're all appreciative :o) The current version is lightyears better than the original, so thanks very much for all your hard work!
