Recently, the US Dept of consumer affairs stated than in 2010 nearly 1 in every 5 people ( nearly 50 million ) will attempt to go into business.

They also stated that the average cost to open a small business would range from 10,000 to 250,000. with the increase of debt and lack of banks issuing lines of credit to new business, it is estimated that nearly half these people will use their entire life savings or their childrens' college fund to start up the business.

Even more striking: 50% of those people will close their doors in just 90 days. that is a lose of nearly 25 million people and a business investment value of 250 billion worth of savings. 250 Billion!

The second half of regular corporate working class people will attempt to open an internet business, join an existing business, become a Network Marketing intern/affiliate. It is also believed that 98% of these people will quit after just 90 days as well. The reason: most do not understand the concept of MLM or Network Marketing before they sign up. Most do so out of desperation not innovation. Companies like twitter/facebook/mashable are creating suc a frenzy that THOUSANDS of Network Marketing companies have flooded the internet machine tossing lures and shiny things at everyone and everything.

Recently as the last ten days, I was approached by -are you sitting down- 50 DIFFERENT companies.

In all the hustle and bustle of business building/product user ideology, many have forgotten that Network Marketing is a business, not a weekend retreat to "My Company Dot Com" Camp.

The potential this year alone for New affiliates is at a RECORD HIGH ( 25 million people worldwide ). That is a lot of market saturation and a lot of potential for a savvy marketer.

I truly believe if the real Network Concept still exists today, the core philosophy, then it is high time everyone step up and get ready.

The Facebook Social scene, Twitter Spam Log are slowing real marketers down. For the average person to filter through all of it to find you and your business is taking too long. By the time they find you, they have all but lost interest in what they were searching for. That is 25 million potential customers lost in a sea of "WHA-?".

More than ever, CLARITY is needed when presenting your business to others and more and more marketers need to stop fishing, stepping over other marketers to find their niche.

It's a big world out there. Let's get to work.
