NBC’s time travel drama series 'Timeless' starring Abigail Spencer, Goran Visnjic, Malcolm Barrett and Matt Lanter, has been on quite some journey. It is, in fact, the first show ever to be canceled and renewed -all thanks to substantial fan support. The determination and loyalty of the fans have truly changed history. The thrilling action-adventure drama has given viewers a deeper insight into past historical events and earned itself a fiercely loyal fan base. The show which premiered in October this year quickly became one of the most successful shows.

This science fiction adventure centers on a mysterious criminal named Garcia Flynn, played by the handsome Goran Visnjic, who steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine with a plan to destroy America by changing its past. An unexpected team made of a scientist, a soldier and a history professor are chosen to travel back in time and stop him from his intentions. They must always stay one step ahead of Flynn (Visnjic) who is dangerous and resourceful, as he is a multilinguan villain. The series is created by Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke, both of which enjoy making stories that are diverse as well as inclusive.

Now fans are turning their attention towards season 2 which is expected to return in 2018, leaving fans thirsty for answers. Timeless executive producers Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke are promising a season to be remembered, where they would tell a few stories that we were unable to tell in the provisos season. In the Season 1 finale, there were some major twists and a big cliffhanger leaving fans puzzled.

However, all of that will soon be changed, as more secrets will be revealed and fans will have the opportunity to better understand the characters, especially Flynn (Visnjic), and his motives. The executives at Sony are confident that 'Timeless' can become a long-running show, which is why they’re aiming to make this next season a bit more family-friendly. In the next season, we can also expect to see them go further into race, gender, and other ignored players in history.
