In traditional network marketing we are told to make list of all of our friends. I am a big fan of networking but the way that many network marketing companies teach this strategy makes our friends and family feel pressured and if they feel pressured they are not going to do it.
When Steve Jobs or Bill Gates started their businesses they too networked with their friends and family but this is not the only strategy they used.
So when it comes down to building a network marketing business you should not only look at what the network marketing industry teaches us but we should look at what real business teaches us.
For example network marketing says call your leads Daegan Smith became the king of never calling another lead buy use the skills of affiliate marketing not network marketing.
I have used the skills of Gary Halbert, Joe Polish and others to build my business yet the MLM leaders say what they teach does not work. If it did not work people would not be paying in the case of Joe Polish $25K to belong to his groups.
